Songling is being prepared for release. Ask for a beta build and you'll have one as soon as there is one.
- What it installs. The app, the Audio Unit and the VST3 — take any of them — and the sounds and screens they share, placed once rather than three times.
- Where your work lives. In your own user folder, never inside the app. Installing, updating and uninstalling all leave it alone.
- On Windows, Microsoft's WebView2 as well, if the PC doesn't already have it. Songling draws its window with it.
- Afterwards. Quit your DAW fully and reopen it. Ableton Live: Settings › Plug-Ins › Rescan. Cubase: Studio › VST Plug-in Manager. Logic lists it under Pyrokinesis.
- Removing it. Windows: Settings › Apps, as usual. Mac: run
uninstall.sh, which the installer leaves in/Library/Application Support/Songlingbeside the sounds. Your songs stay where they are either way.
